Need to have multiple users with different permissions on your web data collection and proxy management platform? no problem. This video will teach you how to add different kinds of users.
To add a new user to your Bright Data account, first click on the “Account Settings” tab on the left hand side of your screen. On the main screen you can see the “Users” section under your account ID. Go ahead and click the plus sign next to the word “Users”. In the pop-up window, fill-in the necessary information; name and email are required.
Now you will need to set the new user’s permission on the drop-down menu on the bottom of the window. You can choose between 4 permission settings: “admin,” finance, ops, or user.
By choosing Admin- your new user user will have no restrictions. If you choose “finance” - this means the user has control over the account’s payment settings. If you choose “ops” the new user will be granted system operation permissions. Finally, if you choose “user”, your user will not have any permission to adjust the account settings. To finish, click save - an email will be sent to the address you’ve entered for approval.
