Noloco, a Dublin, Ireland-based code-free app platform, raised $1.4 Million in initial funding to fuel its ambition to be a shaper of the booming “code-free space “industry.

The funding round included the participation of Y Combinator, Sean Mulryan of Ballymore Group, Anamcara Capital, Zinal Growth, and Marc McCabe of Nomad Capital.

Noloco raises $1.4m for its no-code platform that instantly builds apps from your business dataToday, we’re excited to announce our $1.4m fundraise including participation from YCombinator, Sean Mulryan of Ballymore Group, Anamcara Capital, Guillaume Pouzas’ Zinal Growth (CEO of Checkout.com) & Marc McCabe of Nomad Capital.
What's Noloco?Noloco is a no-code platform for teams to instantly create powerful apps from their business data in spreadsheets and other data sources like Airtable, Google Sheets & Postgres. Our platform enables SMEs to build internal tools, customer portals and partner apps without writing a line of code.
How does it work?Once you connect your data source, Noloco instantly builds a web app from your data. Within minutes, you have a beautiful and functional app that allows you to securely share your business data with your team, customers or partners without having to give direct access to the underlying data source. When your app users log in, they can view, edit and update whatever data you give them access to via user roles and permissions. And it’s easy to streamline and automate key processes with forms, workflows and action buttons. All of this is possible to build through a simple admin interface with no coding experience required.

The journey so farIn late 2021, we introduced Noloco 2.0 to the world. We’d taken our learnings over the year from building a full-stack web app builder, to joining YCombinator, focusing on client portals to listening to early customers and understanding the demand for data-driven applications. We launched the platform in November ‘21 and now have customers in over 10 countries across a variety of industries - including real estate, financial lenders, agencies and startups.
We’ve also grown our team as we’ve been joined by experienced colleagues from companies like Twitter, HubSpot & Salesforce - building the foundations of our engineering, solutions engineering & marketing functions.

We’ve seen huge growth in 2022 so far as more businesses look to no-code to build custom software instead of relying on off-the-shelf solutions that don’t quite fit.Where are we going? Our mission is to build the no-code platform of choice for organisations to build internal tools and customer portals from their data. With the introduction of new data sources like Postgres, we’re moving closer to our goal of becoming a backend agnostic platform, enabling our customers to build powerful web apps from their business data - wherever that data may be stored.
We’re excited for this next stage in our journey where we aim to become an industry shaper in the booming no-code space.
